// THINK PINK? //

Hellooo peeeps

I decided I'd write up a blog post whilst I wait for my Uni results. Mmmmmmm so keen....

On Monday I met up with Jo in the city and we did a little shopping and went to Bonsai Botanika on Elizabeth Street.

I actually never order food when I come here so I'm not sure how the food is but the drinks are really nice. Although if you drink in, then you have to get the medium size because I think those are the only sized cups they have hahaha.

I ordered the Peanut Butter Manschy which was delishh - although I didn't manage to finish it because it's quite rich. Actually I'm surprised I even ordered it because Peanut Butter drinks just remind me of that time me and Amihan both ordered Peanut Butter Milkshakes from San Churro as well as a plate of Churros. We literally felt so sick after two sips and after that we both agreed #neveragain

After Bonsai Botanika, we caught the bus to Jo's house. I swear every time I get on public transport I still get a little anxiety attack since I'm yet to receive my Tertiary Transport Concession Card. I actually only applied for one a week ago after seeing all the posts on UQ stalkerspace #oooopsies
Honestly though, I think the $227 fine is a bit ridiculous and the Queensland Government is just using students to settle their debt. But Oh well that's just life.

PS HERE'S A PHOTO OF JO ANN'S DOG. HE'S SO CUTE

This was a photo of Dallas (That's the dog's name) when we were forcing him into a cute jumper. I think it's safer for me to never own a pet to be honest because I would just spend all day dressing it up and inevitably become one of those crazy ladies that buys outfits and accessories for their dogs/cats and conducts legit photo shoots

LOOK AT DALLAS HE ACTUALLY JUST LOOKS LIKE A POM POM OR SOMETHING
(Poor Dog. I'll admit I was probably having way too much fun dressing him up)

We basically spent the night watching Demi videos. Ohmygod Camp Rock and Sonny with a Chance is literally my childhood in a nutshell. Actually if we're being honest here..not even my childhood IT'S STILL MY LIFE. Don't even get me started on High School Musical I JUST REALLY LOVE DISNEY OKAY.

We also dyed our hair pink (although it was originally meant to be purple)

Bleaching Jo's hair
Hair colouring we used
Jo Ann already bought the hair colouring a few weeks ago because there was a sale where it was buy 1 get 1 free woohoo. Each tube was originally $18 each but we got two for the price of 1.
Basically what we did was mix the purple with pink colouring and added 2/3 parts conditioner which is probably why our hair ended up more pink than purple. For Lorde's concert I think I may redo my hair a darker shade of purple and maybe do 1/3 parts conditioner to 2/3 parts purple colouring.

So yeah this is what colour my hair looks although the camera setting probably makes it look a little more vibrant.sOO so far I've had Red, Blue and now Pink hair. Next time I'm going for purrrrrrrrple.

My parents are probably so sick of me I always tell them afterwards HAHAH. My dad didn't even realise until dinner time today and he was like what WAHT WAIT WOT.

ALSO we did some late night baking hehe. We made Salted Caramel Apple Pie Bars. Which basically comprised of a home made biscuit base, Apples (we obvs didn't home-make the apples but we did season them with cinnamon etc.), a muesli crumble and salted caramel on top.

And yes I do realise the sliced apples here look like baked potatoes

SO funny story. For the salted caramel we were suppose to add salt right..but we used sea salt. AND I thought that would dissolve but nOPE. So the caramel did have some chunks of sea salt; so whoever was unfortunate enough had to deal with an 'explosion of flavours'. Other than that minor mistake, the dessert did taste really nice.
I probably need to bake a lot more to slowly improve on my currently non-existent cooking skills. I'LL GET THERE ONE DAY. ONE DAY I WILL BECOME THE ULTIMATE MASTER CHEF. Although, That's probably too ambitious. In reality I just want to be able to cook food that doesn't begin with Mi and end with Goreng.

Also the only good thing about the DFO in Jindalee is that Windsor Smith was on sale so I got these babies for $38

Also hopefully my ASOS bags arrive tomorrow hehehe. I've been constantly trying to refresh my student email but it's not working because too many people are on the site at the same time DAMMIT I JUST WANT TO KNOW MY GRADE FOR THE SEMESTER.

ANways I'm going to go drown in the shower after finding out my grades

peace n blessins' yo
xo
