I'M CRYING because Medicine by The 1975 is actually so beautiful :') It's just so peaceful and I can imagine driving through the night air whilst listening to this on full blast, despite the fact that I don't even have my Ps yet....HA. This new track was a part of the soundtrack from BBC Radio 1's rescore of the movie Drive. I actually haven't watched it yet, but I plan to watch it tonight. Apparently it's not good at all and ruined what was originally a good film. Even if this is true, at least they can say good music came from this project. Chvrches and Bastille also contributed new music.

In case you missed the memo...or the copious amounts of costume posts on Instagram and Facebook IT WAS HALLOWEEN ON FRIDAY. I had actually bought packets of lollies to bring into the studio on Friday but completely forgot because DAS JUST ME. Soz to everyone at the studio for missing out on starbursts and mini MnMs (is it just me...or do mini MnMs always taste better than the regular sized ones??) lol just me. 

After another morning of watching archi crits, I went to the city and met up with Ling. Did a little bit of accidental shopping and then went to lunch with Ling and Nancy at The Cutting Board. They had nice burgers that were really filling. Although the seating place was a bit weird because it was right next to a busy road so I literally felt like I was eating on a street. Afterwards, we went to Passiontree and ordered Bingsu (YUM) because the weather has been HELLA hot lately. I don't want to even imagine what it's going to be like in summer...god help me now.

Lel. I bought a Tommy Hilfiger polo shirt by accident (well not really an accident). IT WAS ON SALE OKAY. ALSO after major assessments I automatically go into a 'spend money' mode. I shouldn't even be celebrating yet considering I haven't finished all my assessments yet.

So basically I couldn't really be bothered ACTUALLY going somewhere on Halloween, but still wanted to dress up. SO me and Amihan dressed up as Scarecrows and went to Coles HAHAHAHA. We bought some ingredients and then attempted some 'Halloween' baking. Now the key word here is 'attempted'. YOUTUBE TUTORIALS DON'T ALWAYS GO TO PLAN.

I'm not sure how our baking even got to this point (pls dont laugh). Also the orange dents are actually white chocolate melts that were dyed orange with food colouring. We originally planned on making pretzels covered in orange chocolate so that they'd resemble pumpkins BUT apparently you can't melt chocolate more than once??? So we ended up with clunky, half-melted chocolate that wouldn't stick to the pretzels. 

The surprising thing is, the cupcakes ended up tasting SO GOOD. Literally SO GOOD. Looks like our shitty baking skills created a masterpiece. OR maybe that's what we planned all along YOU'LL NEVER KNOW.

I'm rapidly spending money as I earn; I definitely need to work more shifts and save up a bit more during uni holidays. Speaking of spending money, me and Zoe went into Rocking Horse Records to buy hard copy Laneway tickets today. $130 each ticket which is pretty deece for a music festival. I'm real excited for Andy Bull hehehe (luv ya Andy)and sO many good artists woohooo.

I'm extremely excited for the summer holidays even though I will probably spend most of my time surrounded by fruit and veg at my shop. I can't wait to just have no uni related work and be able to see more of my friends outside of uni. Except ZOe. I see her everyday. LITERALLY. hahaha luv u zozo (are you sure you can detect when I'm lying and when I'm not Zoe? he he nah ur a real gem m8)
